Vocalist Britt Thomas on the song – ‘A couple of years ago Josh Lamar gave me a song he’d written that needed vocals and I thought it sounded like a pretty powerful tune and I’d just gone through breakup so I wrote some lyrics that are basically about how if you’re in a rut, or THINK you’re in a rut, things can pretty much always be worse so don’t get too down on yourself over silly stuff. Somebody out there is probably going through something much worse than the petty stuff we all put too much importance on. ‘?
