Local heavies Attila are working on a new album and getting ready to embark on a full U.S. tour and will be hitting parts of Canada as well. Attila is really making strides right now in their music and career. Last year they signed to Statik Factory Records out of Orlando and made and turned what was supposed to be a self produced EP into a widely distributed Full Length. Attila play a unique fast paced, in your face hardcore metal that can really get a crowd going. They infuse a sense of humor that at times makes me want to consider them ‘party core’; they have song names such as You looked Better Last Night and Lemme Get a Newport and really bring a sense of fun to the whole hardcore metal entity. Their album is even titled Soundtrack to A Party. Fronz on vocals can do some amazing and different things with his voice and I think that really makes the experience of the band unique. Their tour is fucking extensive with with Loganville and Columbus, Georgia dates on October 4th and 5th. If you’re into the hardcore thing at all then they are definitely worth the trip.
