Imagine Festival 2017 Top 10 List

For those of you that know me or have read some of my pieces, you KNOW that I only write about music, art, events, community, and festivals that I enjoy. Enjoy is not strong enough of a vocabulary word. Love is more like it! So, for the last few months I have debated on writing a piece defining and describing Imagine Festival. I’m not going to lie, I struggled with the idea. I know you are asking yourselves, “Why Marina, WHY?!” Okay. OKAY. Here’s why. I did NOT have an amazing time, but there were many bright spots. This was my first camping festival. This was also my first Imagine Festival experience. My AMAZING mother was my camping companion. The silent parties at 4am were unforgettable, and we had REAL showers! So… I have decided to write top 10 reasons to go to Imagine Festival as an attendee.

10 REASONS TO GO TO IMAGINE FESTIVAL (Festival Attendee)

1. The Campgrounds are great! There is 24 hour security. Clean port-a-potties. Real showers.

2. The workshops. This year, there were yoga and meditation workshops on the campgrounds. Truly inspirational!

3. Great people! Everyone was here to share a special time with people they came with or had just met.

4. The venders. SO MANY DIFFERENT VENDERS. Artist and shops from all over the country!

5. Super close to Atlanta! The drive was only 30 minutes.

6. Different vendors and a specialty store on the campgrounds.

7. The camp hotels were pretty awesome. If you don’t have a tent you can pay for an Imagine Festival tent and supplies that you get to take home with you.

8. Silent Disco. LOVE IT! Campers can sleep, and I can dance! Huge smiles all around. What is silent disco you may ask yourself? Two DJ’s. Headphones with three channels- Green, Blue, Red. Green and Blue were colors for the two different DJ’s. Red was not sound. Your can switch the channels on your headphones. This stage was only on the campgrounds.

9. The swan pool. There is a pool on the festival grounds. YES! There is a pool on the festival grounds!

10. The FOOD vendors were exceptional. From the Mac-N-Cheese station to the Mediterranean food truck. To plenty of pizza options. Great picks this year Imagine Festival!

Overall as a festival goer, Imagine Festival is fun filled. Workshops, many stages, vendors and food galore. I would go again. I would definitely go again. I would ABSOLUTELY camp at imagine Festival again.
