ALBUM REVIEW: “Incoming!” by Atlanta band Attention System (release show Fri 9.20.13)

 Attention System is Brian Fisher (vocals, keys), Joshua Broughton (guitar, vocals), Jonathan Davis (guitar), Chris Edmonds (bass) and Jason Curtis (drums) whose combined forces are sure to unleash another energy packed show for their new album release, Friday, 09/20/2013. INCOMING is the second album following Wait For My Signal. Just like that powerhouse of neo-futuristic fusion danceable rock this new release keeps our party alive well into the wee hours of morning. The perfect party music; it is a high energy combination of rock, 2013 electronica, and 80s synth. The album is industrial at its roots with a fresh edge of electronica and droning al la carte Interpol. These guys are known for their energetic shows and they do their best to bottle that into this album. It is like having a party in your head. While I enjoyed it with headphones you should give this one a run with a stereo system or car with decent bass and mid ranges. Every song will draw you into a trance regardless. Beware, you just may find yourself in the midst of uncontrollable foot tapping leading into full blown shake downs.
