FREE DOWNLOAD: Trench Party makes a spirited return from a 2 year hiatus with “Reunion”
from Trench Party: Since 2007 I’ve written, recorded and distributed albums independently under this name. I’ve released thirteen albums that have had write-ups in Creative Loafing, PunkNews, RazorCake and a few others. One of my albums, anxiety, had the distinction of being featured on CL’s Best Local Releases of 20I0. I used to have a band that performed with me all over town with the likes of Bomb The Music Industry, andrew Jackson Jihad, The Sunglasses, The Wild and other people. We disbanded a few years ago, and around that time I put Trench Party on hiatus to focus on making hip hop and drinking beer.
Recently I picked the project back up and I’m pleased to announce the release of a brand new Trench Party EP called Reunion. It has 8 songs and represents a vast maturation of this music so dear to my heart. It features my trademark style of happy sounding instrumentals coupled with dark, brooding lyrical themes regarding depression and Lucifer.
