Atlanta band Black Spring Break at the Star Bar
This was my first time seeing Black Spring Break. I went to the show having never heard their music and had no idea what kind of band they even were. I thought they put on a good show. They put of this sort of early weezer vibe but with a little more funk and a lot more attitude. They seem to hold on to a classic, old school sort of rock and roll but add in some pretty epic guitar breakdowns and some more punk-ish and rebellious instrumentals. I really picture them being the lavish man’s rock and roll…picture sitting in a dim lit, laid back lounge…sipping cognac and smoking a cigar…and out comes Black Spring Break to just top off the moment and rock it out.
