BEATLANTA GARDEN: Planting Onions
We planted the onions in late February, 2013…
This is what they looked like after about 2-3 weeks…
This is the onions at 5-6 weeks…at this stage you can start to trim the scallion (long green part) part of the onion to mix in with food you’re cooking…we had them on everything 🙂

Onions after 9-10 weeks…they are nearing completion at almost the size of a baseball…plenty of scallions to cut off too…

Conservation Tip: Force yourself to recycle more by making your trashcan smaller than your recycle container. Downgrade from the normal 30 gallon trashcan to a 13 gallon trashcan and upgrade the size of your recycle container – its one of the easiest ways to remind yourself to recycle in your home.
