BeAtlanta – Who are the members of Ecstatic Vision and what do you play?
Ecstatic Vision – Ecstatic Vision is Doug Sabolick (Guitars, Vocals, Melodica, Whistle), Jordan Crouse (Drums, Percussion), Field Connor (Bass), and Muffinman (Percussion, Guitar,Vox)
B – What does the name Ecstatic Vision mean?
EV – Ecstatic Vision is what we try to acheive when we get together and jam.
B – What kind of music would you describe Ecstatic Vision as playing?
EV – We play trance inducing heavy psych. Primitive african tribal meets Hawkwind.
B – What inspires the lyrics? The lyrics are inspired by my inner primal being.
EV – They tread the line between between the most obvious inner feelings and something more poetic.
B – What kind of equipment do you use?
EV – Most of my equipment ranges from 30-60 years old. We do rely on newer amp as well because of dependability and function.
