PROJECT MAYHEM – Interview and more…

We recently filmed the interview below with Atlanta metal mammoths Project Mayhem at a metal show at the Masquerade. Project Mayhem is Micah Vaughn – Vocal Terrorist, Dusty Taylor – Lead & Rhythm Guitar, Charlie Greene – Bass and Ryan Mintz – Drums. They have been rocking the metal scene in Atlanta for years now and have a huge following.

A Project Mayhem show is well, just that…MAYHEM. They have this to say on myspace about their influences…

The sickest most brutal, aggressive in your face metal. Thats what drives us. Not just 1 or 2 bands. Its the actual thought and meaning behind metal (Thats our influence). It’s the feeling you get when you bust that mother fuckers mouth wide open in the pit and watch him fall. (IT’S MAYHEM!)

and this to say about what their music sounds like…

They couldn’t be more correct. I can tell from their attitudes and their history that they are ready to blow up. They continue to play with national names on the same level or above and definitely deserve to break out in the metal scene. See for yourself…

The band recently release a statement through myspace talking about a video shoot coming up…

PROJECT MAYHEM is shooting there first master production music video. The song is called Knives and Nails. This is a no joke video it will be filmed and produced by 410 film and summitted to MTV,VH1,FUSE,HAVOC ext…. This is going to be the 2nd day and final shoot for the video. It will be a Live shoot filmed at the masquerade and we are looking for extras that would like to be in the video for a Bar/Venue scene and support the production. It will be on Saturday Jan.16 at 10am at the Masquerade in Atlanta right off of North Ave. Thanks for your support and we are looking forward in seeing everyone there.
