Just a week ago, I was at the opening of Shaky Beats Festival. This is the second year for this fun and light hearted EDM focused music festival. I had an amazing time sharing the music and the vibes with the festival goers. I was excited to spend Friday, day 1 of Shaky Beats Festival, just watching the music and getting to know the people that filled the green of every stage.
Identical to last year’s stage set up, there were 3 stages. Piedmont, the most intimate of the 3 stages, housed Criminal Records and such a variety of up and coming talent! The crowd at the Piedmont stage was so energetic. What better way to listen to great music and to share great vibes when you have the option of covered seating. This is very unusual for a music festival, but thanks to Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, GA and Shaky Beats Festival planning, yes, I can enjoy music and stay cool.
The Ponce De Leon Stage had a beautiful view of the sunset and housed such artists as Lost Kings, and Flatbush Zombies. Ok, I know you want here about the Peachtree stage. Don’t worry.
The Peachtree stage was the largest of the 3 stages. Little Dragon, Slushii, Slander, Alison Wonderland (love her!) and Chainsmokers. Although I heard some of the same songs played several times during DJ/Producer sets, this was once again an amazing experience that allowed me to meet amazing people, artists and crew that make this all come together.
Thank you to all of the staff and all of the artists that made the experience this year that much better!!! You guys rock and you make the difference!!!
Please look out and check back soon for several artist interviews that I had a chance to do while at the Shaky Beats Festival.
