I’ve seen Lucero 3 times now and they are an amazing live show and just as good on their albums. Lucero is a band that we have watched progress and discover new planes in each of their albums. From the very first to this latest live album they’ll be recording here in Atlanta this weekend, it has been a fantastic journey. I can easily say that Lucero is one of my ‘go to’ bands when I just want to hear something awesome and familiar. They’re that scrappy alt-rock country punk sort of thing that you can’t help but admire, even if you’re not a fan. Soulful but rigid and rough and cool.
