Brewery: RJ Rockers
Website: http://www.rjrockers.com/
Available locally at: Ale Yeah in Decatur
ABV: 8.5%
Glassware: Goblet
Appearance: A really hazy and cloudy light copper
Scent/Aroma: hops and light citrus, musk and bread
Taste/Flavor: crisp and carbonated
Body/Mouthfeel: smooth with slight carbonation
First Taste: The first taste is strong with a slight bite to the carbonation. The malts add a hint of sweetness but it clashes with the carbonation and leaves a slight citrusy aftertaste and a sense of dryness. Its pretty hop forward and kind of reminds me of a pale ale, almost IPA-ish. Overall its a great beer with high drinkability. At first its a bit hard to tell it comes in at 8.5% ABV but keep on drinking and you’ll begin to notice. A pretty good beer.
Season: all year round
Food/Dessert: I’d eat it with a giant hamburger.
Scale: 7.5
