ABV: 6%
Glassware: pint glass
Appearance: light golden
Scent/Aroma: citrus, other fruits
Taste/Flavor: bitter, spicy
Body/Mouthfeel: smooth, carbonation, spicy on the tongue
First Taste: The first taste made me smile. I was already a bit stoked to try the beer. I got the 2nd to last one available and the guy right behind me took the last one (and he was looking for two – too late, ha!). The smell is an awesome citrus and fruits and the first taste had a spice with a sweet after taste but still leaving that hoppy bitterness lingering. It reminds me of some double IPAs I’ve had but I don’t think it reaches that level; maybe a 1.5 IPA. I believe it touches on all fronts. Its spicy, sweet and bitter all at once. Not much head to it and it goes down smoothly.
