Here is a little press release I received in an email:
“Imagine Southern hip-hop rhythms, heavy bass, punk guitars, electro-synthesizers, butterflies, a couple of thirty 8’s and three terrible 20-somethings sarcastically telling stories of fear and loathing in urban culture from a punk rock perspective all while making you dance??? That’s The FountNHead. The FountNHead just released the official video for “Free and Flowing.” The video is a glimpse into their world of fear, loathing and fun in Atlanta’s Afro-punk scene.
“Free and Flowing” is a pre-promotion for their upcoming EP Higher than Heaven, Still Blacker than Hell, to be released in early August 2011. The FountNHead will be recording in the studio in July with renowned producer, engineer and mixer Jason “JJ Killa” Andrews of Spotlight Sound Studio, who has worked with hip-hop icons such as Akon and Lil Boosie, as well as various underground artists from the alternative hip-hop and punk scene.”
