Sonen live at the Highland Ballroom

Sonen played this month’s Lazerbeam Kitty with dance-rockers Attention System this past Friday. It was an awesome show, tons of people turned out, the King of Pops was there to sell his amazing homemade popsicles and Sonen rocked the house with their blend of darkwave/punk and electronic music. Sonen really pulls this off well. With a three member band, they rock hard and trade vocal riffs between the singers. This provides a unique dynamic in their music. They have a rock feel to their music with a tinge of darkness and bitterness, but also an air of aloof genius.
