‘This song is entitled ‘Trouble’ and was made back in Michigan with former members of DMR when the band was called, Creature Beach. It still embodies the fusion recipe you hear from us today and was actually played on 89x FM radio in Detroit. Inspired by my love of Westerns, my city and the dangers of living in an post-industrial economic ghost town. The Wild West theme sonically and lyrically fits with the main premise being, “Don’t start no ish won’t be no ish…lol!”‘
– Mr.Creech (the VOICE/ DMR)
Lyrics:
Uncle Bill and brother Jim, work down at GM. He never could hold a job, like the rest of them. Them boys you mosey with, man they ain’t yo friends. They laugh and keep you down, now pick up yo chin.
“You don’t want, you don’t start…No Trouble!
Round these parts, all we know is Trouble!
You don’t want, you don’t start…No Trouble!
Round these parts, all we know is Trouble”
Lookie here got a loaded rifle, walks in the bank. Stay cool don’t nobody move, just do what I say. Old Tim the security guard, just loves the hero. Made a move that’s the last he made, the rifle unloads.
“You don’t want, you don’t start… Trouble!
Round these parts, all we know is Trouble!
You don’t want, you don’t start…No Trouble!
Round these parts, all we know is Trouble”
Danger, Danger in town there’s a stranger. Black man, thug, some say he a gun wrangler. Nah partner just sang in saloons. And all you weak emcees get hung at high noon. Who an outlaw, similar to Jose Wales. Once shot a man for snoring, you boring, you won’t sale.
Cool down… let the prairie dust settle. I round up the East, we holla’ with hot metal. Got beef…you get brand like live cattle. What’s in my canteen, a stream of snakes venom. I’m ah spit that, chit-chat, bring hell with me. This tombstone is yours, I ain’t dying for years.
I’m from the wild, wild streets, rock wild, wild beats. Ever since the young buck, avoided the shit creek. You up that…moving with a sawed off paddle. It gets you nowhere, in the middle of the crossroad. Sitting back thinking that, life’s all Waltons.
Just ah gangtas dream. John boy push boy, in town to fiends. Lock it down, but the law just intervene. Wanted man on the poster, visibly seen. Got trouble on their hands..if you know what I mean!?!
“You don’t want, you don’t start… Trouble!
Round these parts, all we know is Trouble!
You don’t want, you don’t start…No Trouble!
Round these parts, all we know is Trouble
