STREAM AND BUY: “And So you Are” from Athen’s, GA band BAXTER and the BASICS

I’m not sure if these dudes are still together (based on their social media accounts) but they sent us this album a while back and we didn’t get around to posting so here it is. I really enjoy the album. It opens with “Black Ice” which is a funky, bluesy soul filled track filled with raspy vocals and cool guy guitar riffs. “Black Ice” is a bit misleading as the rest of the album isn’t quite…it; less bluesy, less funky but still a well rounded album. “Between Archers and Blood” is another highlight for me and “The Beating” brings back the awesomeness of the opening track.
