Sublime in Atlanta 2010

So I went to the Sublime concert last Friday, July 23rd at the Masquerade Music Park. The show was the shit. Being the hardcore Sublime fan that I am, I was skeptical when I heard Sublime had found a new singer and was going on tour; and to be honest, I didn’t really pay any attention to them until the day before the concert…I looked up their new singer, found out they were labeling themselves as “Sublime with Rome” and went ahead and took a listen to the new guy, Rome. I don’t know his background but he fits the part of Bradley Nowell quite well. He has a similar voice and carries himself in a similar way. They even have some new stuff coming out and it sounds really great and in the tradition of Sublime. That said…on to the show. The show was the shit. Thats twice I say it and twice I mean, twice as much.

I didn’t get any videos as I tend not to unless I’m at a local show; and I know that someone will do the job for me. Whether you’re an avid fan and know every album and song (like me) or someone born less than 20 years ago and have come to love them – this show and tour is an absolute fucking blast. They played all the hits you would expect and want to hear and they played some more obscure stuff only a true Sublime fan would know
