Both Flogging Molly and Milky Chance were festival highlights for me. Flogging Molly is always an awesome and super energetic show. Their lyrics are filled with references to good times and beer and they also have their famous ‘protest’ tracks. They played Shaky Knees 2014 as well and really fucking rocked it last year and even more so this year. My friend Chris and I went down to the front of the stage and got in the pit for a while and it was beyond a blast…even though we did both almost pass out because of the heat, and beer :)-. They played “Drunken Lullabies” and a bunch of other crowd favorites. Pics and vids below…

MILKY CHANCE
Milky Chance was my top show to see, not because they were my favorite band of the festival but because they are a fairly new band (at least to me) that I had never seen before. Their dancy, funky, flowy songs and laid back lyrics really appeal to me. I went to dance and dance I did. It was a really awesome experience. The band sounded amazing and it was everything I was hoping for.
