ABV: 4.7% | IBU: n/a
Glassware: Pint Glass
Appearance: Amber gold
Scent/Aroma: Grainy and the opposite of sweet
Taste/Flavor: Slightly hoppy and grain
Body/Mouthfeel: Low carbonation
First Taste: Medium amber golden pours with a head that quickly disappears, this lager has a medium body and a smooth taste. Maybe this beer was different when it was brewed in Tampa before the original brewery closed, but the version now brewed in Melbourne is nothing really special. It smells and tastes grainy with no sweetness and a slight hoppy flavor. Others have said this beer is overtly carbonated, but I don’t get that from the bottle I poured. It is brewed with a combination of 2-row pale, caramel 40, carapils malts, and hopped with both Northern Brewer and German Hallertau hops. It has a 4.7% ABV.
