Artist Highlight :: Marian Hill (PA) – Videos and more

Ok BeAtlanta fam, I have an amazing duo group, Marian Hill that I want you to check out! Marian Hill makes me feel a seductive and dance energy that I have been craving this winter!

Ok here’s a little info on the group:

Vocals – Samantha Gongol
Production – Jeremy Lloyd

Samantha and Jeremy have known each other since middle school but did not release their first song together ‘Whisky’ until 2013. Their sound is described as a mixture of “blues, jazz, heavy bass, and delicate vocals.” These two 26 year old Philadelphia, Pennsylvania natives have accomplished a lot over the last few years. Their album “Act One” released in 2016 features “Down,” “I Want You,” “I know Why,” and “Mistaken”. But I have to say my top three favorite songs are “Down”, “One Time” and “Got it”. I didn’t realize when I came across “Down” on my Spotify “Feel Good Music” playlist that this song was as well known as it is! On January 14, 2017 their song “Down” was featured in the iPhone 7 + AirPods – Stroll — Apple Commercial. You can hear “Down” below.
