Available locally at: Toco Giant Package – they’re almost out and its on sale.
ABV: stated at 7% but I think its gone up with the aging process
Glassware: Pint glass
Appearance: copper, light
Scent/Aroma: high citrus, woody and peppery, I get a bit of Peach I think
Taste/Flavor: citrus fruit, earthy, astringent but not overwhelming
Body/Mouthfeel: bubbly, light, smooth
First Taste: The first taste is excellent and you can tell right off that this beer ages very well. Its bottle fermented and made to age. You get good citrus notes and a slight astringency that passes smoothly. Its slightly carbonated leaving a bubbly tingly feeling on your tongue with each taste. Its not so earthy that it overwhelms the citrus and it leaves a nice floral but dry aftertaste and scent. This is an excellent beer.
Season: Spring, Summer, Fall
Food/Dessert: Peach Pie
Scale: 8
